BUENO® Red Chile Sauce
This is a traditional red chile sauce using the finest red chile powder available. Special Reserve Chile Powder (formerly known as Chimayo) was one of Bueno’s first products, available since the 1950s.

½ cup onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
6 Tbsp. BUENO® Special Reserve Chile Powder
1 ½ cups water
½ tsp. salt

  
  1. Sauté onion and garlic.
  2. Add chile powder, water, and salt.
  3. Simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.

 

Makes approximately 18 oz. or 2 ¼ cups.
